GasHub operates the infrastructure. Commercial decisions rest with the participants.

GasHub is a Brazilian technology company dedicated to the natural gas market. It administers the platform on which buyers and sellers negotiate and execute their transactions, and produces market information based on aggregated data.

GasHub is remunerated for the services it provides. It does not buy or sell gas and holds no position in any transaction.

Principles

How participant information is handled.

Independence.

GasHub does not buy or sell gas and takes no position. Its services are charged under non-discriminatory criteria applicable to all participants.

Confidentiality.

Each company defines what is visible and to whom, under the platform rules. The terms of its relationship with one counterparty are not visible to others.

Aggregation.

Publications do not identify individual companies, transactions or prices.

Restricted access.

GasHub staff access to participant information is restricted by role and logged.

Record.

All relevant actions generate an audit trail with author, timestamp and content.

Information security

A formal information security program.

Role-based access control, multi-factor authentication, encryption in transit and at rest, event monitoring, vendor management and an incident response plan.

Access.

Role, permissions and activity log for every user, internal or external.

Continuity.

Event monitoring and a documented incident response plan.

Compliance

Formal internal policies, a code of conduct applicable to platform users, a whistleblowing channel and rules governing the use of market information by GasHub staff.
